core modules for honing rebellion

explore creativity & curiosity

the team reflects on their relationship with creativity through interactive activities and learns how to increase creativity to improve work performance. we look at relationship building, self-expansion and useful constraints.

collaboration

the team discover how honest communication that features constructive disagreement can be used to push ideas forward. we discuss open conversation techniques to encourage deeper insights and different perspectives and understand the wider benefits of collaboration on career progression.

contribution & authenticity

the team engage in self-reflection to improve self-efficacy. we establish our strengths and learn to tap into our curiosity. we aim to cultivate independent thought and emphasise taking consistent action based on honing our strengths. we also focus on showing vulnerability to foster trust, a true connection and motivation.

risk-taking & challenge

the team explores status quo bias, conformity and comfort and how they can stifle progress. we look at the psychology behind this behaviour and how to overcome these barriers; moving from a place of frustration to opportunity and engagement.

innovation

the team uncover the key components of innovation. we explore the skills of exploration, pushing boundaries, making and recovering from mistakes and having fun. we dig deeper into the process that is often messy and understand the trade-offs around efficiency.

connecting with your inner rebel

the team taps into their inner rebellious side through a visualisation exercise and creates guiding principles to reach their definition of success. we create these rules to show up as our most courageous selves set on positive change. we use methods grounded in design-thinking.

Rebellion is the ability to be authentic, creative and challenge the status quo while leading, experimenting and taking more risks.

Rebel In Progress, is a platform leading the modern generation of RebDev (Rebel Development) for professional talent. I disrupt the traditional professional development space to bring rebellion to the core of your workforce's skillset. It's my mission to socialise rebellion as an asset for workers in order for companies to leverage any untapped resources and use it to their competitive advantage.

The benefits of rebellion are widely reported to increase staff engagement, morale, collaboration, contribution and creativity. Building an inclusive workplace is where different ideas and perspectives are celebrated and actualised into purpose and profit. Consequently, this approach also creates a larger talent pool for future executive and leadership appointments.

I understand that it's essential to meet the ever-evolving demands of a new generation of thinkers and consumers. Your organisation must adapt and upskill your workforce to match the developments in tech and AI; bridging the skills gap is non-negotiable if you want to lead in your industry.

The Rebel In Progress programmes are designed to support talent through the ongoing professional development process and work towards your current business needs while pre-empting future demands.

With the events of 2020 threatening gender equality regression and speculated global GDP growth at $1 trillion lower in 2030, I'm passionate about supporting female talent to bridge the rebel skills gap. Female talent retention, engagement and closing the gender pay gap (and confidence gap, for that matter) is at the forefront of many organisations minds as we progress into 2021.

All courses can be tailored for female attendees and standardised for all genders.

Previous Clients Say

University of Oxford

"Rachel is an excellent workshop designer, facilitator and presenter. She has a really approachable and flexible style, able to quickly pivot her delivery depending on the needs of the organisation and the people taking part. Running her workshops at the University of Oxford was a new experiment for us as an organisation, but it was a resounding success. I’m looking forward to working with Rachel again and would have no hesitation in recommending her as a workshop provider."
